He said the growth of CDRI in recent years has been impressive. During this, Prime Minister Modi expressed concern about natural disasters and said that they are becoming more severe. The prime minister said that the focus of this conference is on the global south.

Prime Minister Modi addressed the conference
Prime Minister Modi said in a speech that “We have come a long way since 2019. Now it is a global alliance of 39 countries and 7 organizations. This is a good sign for the future.” He added, “We have all seen that natural disasters are becoming more and more severe. The damage they cause is usually expressed in dollars, but its real impact on individuals, families and communities goes beyond these figures. We must invest in sustainable infrastructure today must naturally include a focus on post-disaster relief and rehabilitation “.
