Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s decision to buy wheat worth 29 billion rupees from farmers Achi-News

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to buy 3 lakh metric tons of wheat worth 29 billion rupees from the farmers.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Minister Zahir Shah Toro says committees have been formed at the district level to check the quality of wheat.

Zahir Shah Toro said wheat procurement app has been introduced, monitoring control room will be established for complaints, transparency will be ensured in wheat procurement campaign.

He said that farmers will be paid through the bank within 24 hours, the food department has issued a letter to all concerned authorities regarding the SOP.
