Why does Congress leader Rahul Gandhi always wear a white t-shirt to show transparency and simplicity? In a more than two-minute video posted on his social media channels, Gandhi said this in response to some such light-hearted questions. The caption in the video is – One Day Election Campaign in Karnataka. He also talked about his perspective on the importance of ideology. The white t-shirt has been the trademark of Rahul Gandhi since his visit to Judo in Kanyakumari-Kashmir-India.

He said, in my opinion, without a clear understanding of ideology, you cannot move towards power as a large organization. We need to make people understand our ideology. Our ideology is pro-poor, pro-women, pluralistic, treats everyone equally. At the organizational level, the struggle at the national level is always about ideology.
