The Revenue Department has prepared to take action against a colonist in Khandwa and send him to jail. The colonist owes about Rs 69 lakh in diversion tax of one colony. The anxious colonist was warned several times about the deposit of diversion tax but he did not appear or deposit the tax. Now that the Khandwa Tehsildar has made a report on the steps taken to send him to jail, the report has been approved by the SDM. A notice has been sent to the colonist in this regard.

The issue is Samyak Gold located on Kotwada Road village near Khandwa.
