Papmochani Ekadashi 2024: Ekadashi date is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. By observing Ekadashi fast, a person gets freedom from all kinds of sins and attains salvation after death. Method of worship –
- Get up early in the morning and take a bath etc.
- Light a lamp in the temple at home.
- Anoint Lord Vishnu with Ganga water.
- Offer flowers and basil leaves to Lord Vishnu.
- If possible, fast on this day.
- Perform God’s Aarti.
- Offer food to God. Remember that only virtuous things are offered to God. Be sure to include Tulsi in the offerings to Lord Vishnu. It is believed that Lord Vishnu does not accept food without Tulsi.
- On this auspicious day, along with Lord Vishnu, also worship Goddess Lakshmi.
- Meditate on God as much as possible on this day.
