King Charles has lost his trust in Prince William to become the next King of the United Kingdom after evaluating his recent worrying behavior since Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnosis, according to the latest report.
The Queen believes the Prince of Wales needs more time to replace him, an insider has revealed Weekly In Touchbefore highlighting the recent public relations disaster William faced.
Amidst rumors that Charles might not have more than two years to live, a source shared that the King is worried that William is not ready to take over the throne.
They said Charles and Queen Camilla were “worried about Prince William, who is next in line to the throne, because he is facing a public relations disaster at the moment.”
“Charles knows the pressure of being queen,” added the insider. “And he’s just not sure that William is ready to take his place. It seems premature, and there could be consequences.”
To deal with the new rumors that he was cheating on his wife Kate Middleton with Rose Hanbury, William started drinking, adding to King Charles’s fears.
The queen was also worried that William could make the same mistake he did when he cheated on his then wife, Princess Diana, with the now Queen Camilla.
In addition, Charles cannot ignore the turmoil between William and Prince Harry – which the Duke of Sussex wrote about in his popular memoir, Spare.
The source said that William has problems dealing with difficult situations and that is why the Prince is finding it difficult to navigate the fact that his father as well as his beloved wife have a life-threatening illness.
