BENGALURU: The application period for the recruitment of BBMP civil servants has been extended till May 15. BBMP has issued this order in the backdrop of Lok Sabha elections. Last March, applications were invited for the recruitment of 11,307 municipal employees.
BBMP had given time till April 15 as per the earlier notification. However, due to the announcement of the Lok Sabha elections, the application submission period has been extended by another month. Because of this, the candidates get extra time.

Who can apply?
Must have worked as a civil servant in BBMP for at least two years on various basis including direct payment, daily wages. Such workers under the age of 55 can apply.

Kannada is mandatory!
No educational qualification is required for a civil labor position. Must be able to speak Kannada. A certificate of physical fitness is required.
