Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar sought a response from the US Embassy on Wednesday afternoon. He was very angry with the US State Department’s comment on Kejriwal’s arrest. He called the acting deputy head of the American mission, Gloria Barbena, and said that this is interference in the affairs of a sovereign country. Later, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal issued a statement, “We strongly object to the comments of the US State Department spokesperson on certain legal cases in India. In diplomacy, any country is expected to respect the sovereignty and internal affairs of other countries. If the issue concerns the democratic countries of the allies, then this responsibility increases even more. If this does not happen, wrong examples will be set.” The US State Department had said, “We are keeping a close eye on the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal. We expect a transparent legal process for Chief Minister Kejriwal.”
Obviously, this comment would be repugnant to any sovereign country. Who is America to keep an eye on the judicial process of any country? Recently, when Putin became the President of Russia for the fifth time, India came forward and welcomed Putin. India has always believed that Russia is its most reliable friend. So, Russia may make mistakes even with China but India ignores all this.

Biden knows that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi can be friends with Donald Trump in this election. The Indian diaspora is very powerful in America. In terms of money and political power. Recently, on the arrest of Kejriwal, Germany had also made similar statements in a very soft tone on the arrest of Kejriwal by the ED. India immediately summoned the Deputy Chief of the German Embassy, Georg Enzweiler. He was told that India will not tolerate foreign interference in internal affairs.
Resistance to American intervention at all levels

America does not refrain from provoking India
America’s problem is that it does not want to leave India and does not refrain from provoking it. Leaving India aside means letting mighty China have a free run. The way China competes economically with America today is a sign that American dominance will no longer be acceptable in Asian countries. In such a situation, leaving India, its only ally, will become a permanent headache for America. India is competing with the population of China. Today, it is this growing population that increases a country’s GDP. In this matter India is only twenty one compared to China. As Chinese people are reaching around the world, the same number of Indians are also reaching the world. Indians are way ahead of the Chinese in terms of intelligence and political will. That is why Indians are at the top in America, Canada and the UK today. This pressure from Indians has become Narendra Modi’s power today. That’s why, whether in America or Germany, one immediately gets a harsh answer.
America should be respected as a sovereign country.
Going and settling abroad is not migration but the dream of the Indian middle class. Any person can go abroad only when he has money. For any person to go to America, Canada or Europe and settle down, he needs at least ten lakh rupees. A visa, a plane ticket and being unemployed for a few days can’t be done just like that. Therefore, today only the upper middle class can migrate abroad. This class is efficient in its work. He has earned degrees from top institutes in India, that’s why he is getting work in these western countries. The truth is, if they need America or Europe, they need us too. We are interdependent. So there should be equal treatment. Because of this equality, no country can bully any other country. So America should respect us as a sovereign country. We respect our judicial system. Don’t teach us any lesson.
