On March 1, former Uttarakhand DGP Ashok Kumar took charge as the Vice Chancellor of Haryana Sports University.
The University Grants Commission (UGC) of India has taken a major decision regarding Haryana Sports University. The Commission has approved a UGC grant to the university. With this decision by the University Grants Commission, all Haryana Sports University courses will now be valid for government jobs and competitive exams like UPSC, PSC, or SSC in India. With this, students of the state as well as other states will get a chance to make a career on a large scale.
