New Delhi. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s troubles show no sign of abating. Rouse Avenue Court has extended CM Kejriwal’s remand period. Earlier, arguing in court, Kejriwal’s lawyer called ED’s allegations baseless and sought his release from custody. On the other hand, ASG SV Raju, appearing for the ED, said Kejriwal was not giving details of his assets. Apart from this, others accused in the Delhi liquor scam case must be made to sit with Kejriwal and be questioned face to face. After this the court extended Kejriwal’s remand period.

ED made series of allegations against CM Kejriwal in the court. Know everything in 10 points :-

1.On behalf of ED, the court was told that movable and immovable properties, income tax returns and other financial information were sought from Arvind Kejriwal, which has not been given by him yet. Now ED has sought information about Arvind Kejriwal’s financial details from the concerned bank and the Income Tax Department. After getting information from the concerned department, Kejriwal will be questioned in this regard.

2. ED has informed the court that the person who was a candidate for Aam Aadmi Party in Goa has said in the recorded statement that the party has promised that the party will bear all the financial expenses during the elections .

3. Data is extracted from the digital device seized from the house of Aam Aadmi Party leader Deepak Singla, who was active in the Goa elections. After getting the data, Arvind Kejriwal may need to be questioned.

4. ED told the court that C. Arvind, who was PS Manish Sisodia during his custody, was brought face to face with Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

5. When seeking a remand, ED said in court that they must inquire about the information relating to the visitors/people who come to the Prime Minister’s office.

6. The ED told the court that Arvind Kejriwal has been arrested based on the evidence collected so far by the investigating agency.

7. The court has said in its order that Aam Aadmi Party MP Sandeep Pathak will also be able to meet him during his custody. Her daughter Harshita Kejriwal will also be able to meet.

8. The court has already allowed his wife Sunita Kejriwal and PA Bibhav Kumar as well as lawyers to meet Kejriwal in custody.

9. ED has already declared Arvind Kejriwal as the kingpin in the liquor scam case in the court. It is also alleged that Kejriwal’s role was important in making the excise policy.

10. The investigating agency ED has accused him of taking a bribe of Rs 100 crore. ED says the money earned from the liquor scam case was used in Goa.
