New Delhi (August 25): The Congress continues to face a shock ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Now senior Karnataka Congress leader Dr. Sushruta Gowda has reportedly joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. Gowda participated in the Bharat Jodo Yatra from Kanyakumari to Kashmir along with former party president Rahul Gandhi. It is worth noting that he has made serious allegations against the Congress.
Wednesday Dr. Sushruta Gowda joined BJP. Notably, he was recently made the General Secretary of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee. According to media reports, Karnataka Congress spokesperson HA Venkatesh said Gowda’s departure will not have much impact on the Congress in Mysore as he is not active in the party.
