A driver was given a three-month license suspension for allegedly speeding while impaired on Highway 11 in Muskoka.
State police officers said they stopped a vehicle traveling 164 kilometers per hour in the posted 100 km/ha limit in Huntsville shortly before midnight on Thursday.
After speaking to the driver, the officers carried out a roadside screening test and then placed the accused under arrest.
The 30-year-old man faces charges of impaired driving – blood alcohol concentration (80+), stunt driving, and being an inexperienced driver with a blood alcohol concentration above zero.
Along with the 90 day license suspension, the vehicle was impounded for 14 days at the expense of the registered owner.
