8 NADRA officials were suspended for stealing citizens’ data Achi-News

Islamabad: Action has begun on the recommendation of the joint investigation committee team on the issue of theft of citizens’ data from NADRA. More than eight officers were suspended and charged.

According to NADRA officials, action is being taken against around a dozen officials while more than eight officials have been suspended and given charge sheets.

Confirming the case in the light of the JIT, a NADRA spokesperson said that they cannot release individual names due to data privacy and judicial proceedings.
