Once again the cheetah movement has created a stir in Tirumala. The forest staff spotted the leopard near the path. Officials alerted devotees and security personnel after the leopard was caught on camera last night.
On the 25th and 26th of this month, the authorities warned the travelers as a leopard was seen on the promenade. The officials of the forest department have taken strict action without any threat to the safety of the passengers. Bones were arranged to catch the leopard. Forest department officials have already caught four leopards. The forest department said that the leopards reach the Tirumala hill as the forest area is smaller. Recently, leopards have been terrorizing pilgrims in Tirumala.
In the past, a boy was attacked and then another girl was killed, causing panic among the faithful. TTD and Forest officials jointly undertook the campaign. Four or five leopards have also been caught so far. Bones were also arranged along the way. Again and again the movement of the cheetah created a commotion on the avenue.
