Sindh Irrigation Minister Jam Khan Shoro says that there is a difference with the federation on the lack of water in Sindh.

From Karachi, Sindh Irrigation Minister has issued a statement regarding water supply to the province.

He says that Nara and Rohri canals are getting 7 thousand 200 cusecs of water, there should be no shortage of water for crop production in Sindh.

The Sindh Irrigation Minister has said that there is a 70% water shortage in other canals in Sindh, they are ensuring the supply of crops and drinking water under the rotation program.

He has further said that LBOD is making a separate plan to draw rain water from Thoro Pran, Hakdro drain, under the plan a big gate will be installed on RD 210.

Sindh Irrigation Minister Jam Khan Shoro also said that the report of LBOD, Dhoro Pran, Hakadro drains was requested by the concerned Deputy Commissioners, DC Mirpur should work to remove encroachments from Dhoro and Paran drains.
