Nomination papers of 42 candidates have been submitted for 11 Senate seats in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the Peshawar Election Commission, 8 candidates have withdrawn their nomination papers so far.
According to the Electoral Commission, there are 9 candidates for 2 technocrat seats, 6 candidates for 2 women’s seats while 19 candidates are still in the fight for 7 general seats.
According to the Election Commission, there are 9 candidates including Noorul Haq Qadri and Azam Swati for Technocrat. Mehwish Ali, Ayesha Bano, Rubina Naz, Begum Tahira Bukhari, Rubina Khalid and Shazia are candidates for the women’s seat.
Murad Saeed, Azam Swati, Mirza Muhammad Afridi, Faisal Javed, Muhammad Talha Mehmood and Azhar Qazi Mashwani are candidates for the general seat.
According to the Election Commission, Irfan Salim, Niaz Ahmed, Waqas Orkazai, Fazl Hanan, Faiz-ul-Rahman, Ata-ul-Haq and Fida Muhammad are among the candidates.
According to the Election Commission, Shafqat Ayaz, Asif Rafiq, Taj Mohammad Afridi, Noorul Haq Qadri and Khurram Zeeshan are also candidates.
According to the Electoral Commission, the candidates will be able to withdraw the papers until March 29, while the final list will be released on March 30 and marks will be allocated to the candidates.
