The dollar continues to grow in the country – Business and economy
The trend of increasing the value of the dollar in the domestic currency markets continues.
According to the State Bank, the dollar closed at a high of 238 rupees 91 paise after rising by one rupee on the country’s interbank exchange on Tuesday.
In the first two days of the current business week, the dollar rose by Rs 2.7 paise, while the US currency was selling at Rs 244 in the open market.
The dollar has gained 20 rupees 31 paise so far this month in the interbank market.
Notably, the dollar was settled at 237 rupees 91 paise after the rise of 1 rupee 7 paise in the interbank market yesterday.
