The Calgary Wonder Parade returns for Expo Achi-News

Canada’s biggest cosplay parade is back in force, returning to the city for the 10th time on Friday.

The Parade of Wonders (POW!), which is part of the Calgary Expo, is expected to attract thousands of people wearing their best cosplays.

The parade starts at 10:30am with the costumed crowd marching down Stephen Avenue. from 10th Street to the Olympic Plaza.

This year, the parade marshal is comic creator and hometown hero Todd McFarlane, famous for his work with Spider-Man and as the creator of Spawn.

The Calgary Expo started on Thursday afternoon, but the prisoners of war! is considered the official kickoff to the event as fans are set to flock to Stampede Park for the event which runs until Sunday.
