Due to the impact of two cyclones around Chhattisgarh, there was respite from the heat in most parts of the state including the capital on Tuesday. Wet winds continued to blow throughout the day, due to which the temperature in Jagdalpur dropped by 15 degrees in 24 hours. On Monday the temperature here crossed 40 degrees. The temperature was recorded on Tuesday at 25.6 degrees.

Similarly, the temperature dropped by 5 degrees in Bilaspur and 6 degrees in Ambikpur.
