A high tension electric wire fell on an old man who was sleeping on a cot in Rampur village along the Jamui-Lakhisarai border area. As a result, the crib caught fire. As a result, the old man was seriously injured. The family members then brought the injured old man to the Sadr Hospital for treatment. There his condition became serious and he was referred to Patna. The injured old man has been identified as 65-year-old Nageshwar Sau, a resident of SG Rampur under Khanan police station in Lakhisarai district. Referring to Patna PMCH, the family members of the injured said that the old man was sleeping on the cot near the house, when the high voltage wire passing nearby broke and fell on the bed and the bed caught fire. Because of this the old man was badly burned. Earlier he was admitted to the local private clinic. Seeing his condition becoming serious, the doctor sent him to Sadr Jamui Hospital for better treatment. When his condition worsened, the attending physician after initial treatment referred him to PMCH Patna for better treatment. Doctor Dr. Martyunjay Kumar said that the old man was badly burnt. Those whose initial treatment was available at Sadar Hospital were given. Whereas he was referred to PMCH Patna for better treatment.
