Once, Robert, a ten-year-old boy in America, saw a female donkey playing in the field, calling for help. It seemed like she was hungry. So Robert gave him his sandwich, some water and took him home after bathing him nearby.

After much arguing with his family, he convinced them to keep the donkey in the back yard. Robert and the donkey grew up together. Wherever he went, she followed him. People would stop on the road and look at him, but he didn’t care.

Once when his father insulted him by saying ‘You are as useless as this donkey’, he ignored him and continued to work. Then one day he got the idea why not sell donkey’s milk to soap-moisturizer manufacturing companies, because the queen herself used donkey’s milk for bathing.

He found out that countries like Italy, Greece, Turkey also have a history of using donkey milk for culinary and medicinal purposes. He then built Donkey’s Dairy and became the richest farmer there. When she started supplying donkey milk for the princess’s bath he fell in love with her and married her!

This may seem like a fictional story, but it is true. But how can history forget that the Egyptian queen Cleopatra, who was known for her beauty, used to have milk delivered to her from a herd of around 700 donkeys every day for her bath.

It is not known where he got this idea, but perhaps he was impressed by its beauty, Hippocrates (a Greek doctor, known as the Father of Medicine) said that donkey’s milk was effective in fever, liver problems, joint pain and poisoning.

This story, which is told to children in western countries, was told to me by an Englishman when I shared the recent success story of a Gujarati who has established Donkey’s Dairy and earned Rs 5,000. Selling their milk for Rs.100 per litre!

Yes, Dhiren Solanki has started a donkey farm. He always wanted a government job, but he had to do a private job, which barely supported the household. Then he found out about raising donkeys in South India and found it to be a profitable business. He decided to build a donkey farm and meet people in his hometown of Patan, Gujarat.

Rs 22 lakh eight months ago. Start a dairy with 20 donkeys with an investment of Rs 20 lakhs and earn Rs 2 to 3 lakhs by supplying milk to South India. Monthly earnings have started. Among its customers were cosmetic companies from Karnataka and Kerala, who use it in their products. Today there are 42 donkeys in this dairy and so far he has earned Rs 39 lakh. Invested.

Today the milk from their dairy is sold 70 times more expensive than the milk of cows and buffaloes. Interestingly, Dhiren is looking at the option of drying the milk and selling it in powder form, which can cost Rs 1 lakh. It will be about a kilo.

It’s easy to be like someone else. Dhiren also wanted to become like anyone else in the village by doing a government job. But he realized that he was unique, created by God with the ability to prove himself. Although the association may have a conservative view on this, he had faith in the business and knew it would be profitable.

The bottom line is that The original idea always stands out and is remembered for a long time.
