Achi news desk-News in Bhaskar Balod: Cyclist Goneshwar Prasad Sahu (24), a resident of Mukha, died in a collision with an unknown vehicle on the main road near Santosh petrol pump, 2 km from Gundardhi headquarters, Balod on Friday at 9:30 pm. Veena Yadav said that she arrived at the spot with the team and scanned the CCTV footage to find out the whereabouts of the vehicle. An offense under Section 304-A was registered against the driver of the unknown vehicle at the Gondardi police station. Parsmani Sahu, a resident of Mocha village, said that on Friday he traveled with Mukesh Sahu, Manish, Goneshwar Sahu of Mocha village, Ankit Sahu of Rajoli, Manish Sahu of Ribaghan village to attend the wedding program of his friend Pappu Nishad, a resident of Bagamera village. From there, Goneshwar Sahoo went to his maternal uncle’s house in Kachandur on Manish Sahoo’s bike. Then an unknown vehicle hit him near Santosh Gandardhi Petrol Pump Main Road. After getting information about the incident, when Mukesh reached the spot with Sahu, Goneshwar died. The bike was damaged. Those present announced that an unknown vehicle hit the cyclist in front. Goneshwar had serious injuries to his chest, throat, head, hands and legs. Here the police are investigating the issue.
