The state’s second modern food and drug laboratory under construction at Talawali Chanda near Dewas Naka is ready. After 4 years of continuous construction work, the installation of high-tech testing machines in the laboratory is now complete. Machines have been installed in the laboratory to test all types of food items. The lab was expected to start in March, but due to the code of conduct not cutting the ribbon, this gift will now only be available until June.

In fact, the Department of Food Safety is planning to launch the laboratory.
