Recalling this conversation, the External Affairs Minister added that the Prime Minister said to call me when help comes. I said sir it will take two or three more hours. I will let you know here when it is done. After this PM Modi loudly said, No…, call me directly. This is a unique quality of a prime minister, said the foreign minister.
The Minister of External Affairs hosted the tenth meeting of IPSA
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar hosted the tenth meeting of IPSA’s Tripartite Ministerial Commission during this period. He reviewed the process of IBSA and appreciated its work. The meeting was also attended by Brazilian Foreign Minister Carlos Branca and South African Health Minister Joe Fahla.
According to a joint statement issued by IBSA, the ministers condemned the terrorist attacks around the world. He condemned all forms and acts of terrorism, wherever and by whoever. Ministers reaffirmed unity in the fight against terrorism with efforts to eliminate terrorist safe havens.
