The NIA has seized the land of an accused in the 2021 motorcycle blast case in Punjab. According to an official statement, the accused has connections with Khalistani terrorists. Let us tell you that there was an explosion in a Bajaj Platinum motorcycle in front of the Punjab National Bank branch in Jalalabad where the bike terrorist was killed.

The property of Surat Singh, known as Surti, was seized

In this case, the NIA seized the property of Surat Singh alias Surti, a resident of Mahatam Nagar village in Fazilka. The NIA says Surat Singh has links with Khalistan terrorists Habib Khan and Lahvir Singh who are in Pakistan. Both are accused of arms and drug trafficking. The central agency says Surat Singh and Lahvir Singh are among the nine people named in the NIA’s chargesheet.

The NIA investigation found that Habib Khan and Vir Singh have links with Surat Singh, known as Surti, and other organizations based in India. A plan was prepared by them to establish a terrorist organization in Punjab. The statement said that the purpose of this program is to detonate explosives and operate a narco racket. Due to this, the NIA is continuously destroying the financial infrastructure of narco terrorists in the country and confiscating the real estate of people associated with the terrorist organization.

Surat Singh’s connection with the terrorist organization

The NIA said Surat Singh was involved in smuggling drugs, explosives, arms and ammunition from Pakistan. He works as a key agent of the terrorist network. To do this job, he uses fake IDs and virtual numbers as well as platforms like WhatsApp.

Let us tell you that a day after the bike blast i.e. on 16 September 2021, a case was registered under various sections at Jalalabad City Police Station in Fazilka, Punjab. NIA took over the investigation of this case on October 1, 2021.
