In this thrilling match of Seemanchal Zone, Purnia defeated Katihar by 7 runs. After winning the toss and electing to bat, Purnia scored 264 runs and lost 7 wickets in 50 overs. Chasing the target, Katihar could only score 257 runs after losing 9 wickets in 50 overs.
