Mysore: The temple which was submerged due to the fall in the water level of the reservoir in the backwaters of Kabini can be seen. Mysuru District (Mysuru News) The water level in the Kabini Reservoir at Beechanahalli of HD Kote Taluk has seen a drop of just 60 feet. Because of this, the temple which was currently submerged in the backwater of the reservoir has given darshan to the outside world (Ancestors Rising).

Many idols including Nandi Vigraha, Shiva Linga, Ganapati, Nagarahede are present and have surprised the locals. If the water level in the Kabini reservoir falls further, many more temples may come up.

Temples seen in 2013!
In 2013, many temples were exposed due to low water in the backwaters of the same area. Currently only 7 tmc of water is stored in the reservoir and there is a threat of water shortage.
