The police have registered the case and started investigation.

In Shambhu district, Patiala, an attempt was made to murder a 60-year-old woman by calling her on the pretext of help. After putting a rope around the neck of this elderly woman named Bhinder Kaur, she was thrown in an area away from her house. After regaining consciousness, this elderly woman lodged a complaint with the police with the help of people.

The police station arrested 40-year-old Shambhu Gurdayal on the complaint of this woman.
