Karsma Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit recently graced the stage of Dance Diwan. While Madhuri is a judge on the dance reality show, Karasma marked her presence as a guest. The superstar duo of Bollywood has created waves of nostalgia among fans with their magical looks. Recently, Karisma shared a video from the show featuring her alongside Madhuri recreating the iconic hook steps of the track Chak Dhoom Dhoom.
Chak Dhoom Dhoom is a popular track from the movie Dil To Pagal Hai. It featured the three heroes of the film Shah Rukh Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit dancing in the rain with a group of children. In the latest video shared by the Murder actor Mubarak, we can see the two divas effortlessly channeling their characters, Nisha and Pooja, from the film. The unexpected revival of the popular dance number marked a nostalgic reunion after 26 years.
Dressed in a black printed saree paired with a belt and drapes that added a contemporary touch, Karisma exuded timeless charm with her mesmerizing presence. On the other hand, Madhuri looked like a pure diva in a yellow three piece set. Her traditional ensemble featured an embroidered crop top, a matching flared palazzo embellished with cut work embellishments and a jacket with a long train.
The video had fans clamoring for another movie featuring the ’90s stars together. One fan asked, “Please make a movie together.” For another user, Karsma and Madhuri are an “evergreen duo”. A third expressed her joy when she wrote, “What a treat for Bolilov since the 1990s.”
It’s not all. In the recently released promo for the upcoming episode, both Karisma Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit recreated their iconic jealousy dance sequence from the same film. Needless to say, the energetic showdown between the two talented stars was a defining dance moment for many years.
As the unforgettable dance battle came to life again, the audience cheered for the actress followed by Suniel Shetty’s standing ovation. Shetty, who is one of the judges on the show, hailed Karisma and Madhuri as the “biggest dancing stars of the industry”.
