When the police personnel signaled the dumper driver who was bringing Yamuna sand after illegal mining in Palwal to stop, the dumper driver tried to ram the dumper on the police team. The police somehow saved their lives by jumping aside. When the police chased him and tried to catch the dumper, the dumper driver ran away spreading sand on the road. The police have controlled the driver of the dumper, while his companion has escaped. Chandhat police station has started action by registering a case against the two named accused under various sections including attempt to kill police personnel, obstruction of government work.
