Jamshedpur Rabindranath Tagore Jayanti was celebrated with great pomp at Srinath Public School. This time, school president Sukhdev Mahato, Principal Sanjay Kumar Singh, Academic Director Dilip Kumar Mahato and all the teachers along with a large number of students were present. Poems, plays and stories written by Rabindranath Tagore were staged by the students. Class 10 student Arnita Priya said- Tagore was a person of extraordinary talent. He is also known as Gurudev. He was a visionary who breathed new life into India’s cultural consciousness through Bengali literature. He was the first Nobel Prize winner from Asia.
