A war of words has erupted between Maharashtra Chief Minister Akanath Shinde and UBT Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray. Shinde hit back at Thackeray’s objectionable statement. He said they can’t digest if a normal verb becomes a CM.
Shinda’s claim- Uddhav Thackeray used derogatory words
CM Eknath Shinde said at an election rally in Boldhana, “Yesterday he (Uddhav Thackeray) used derogatory words for me. You don’t like it if a farmer’s son, a simple laborer becomes the Chief Minister. You are unable to digest it.”

He further said, ‘If you see, it is not an insult to me. It’s an insult to all the peasants, it’s an insult to the mothers and sisters of the poor, it’s an insult to the society I come from. He appealed to the people to vote for his party in the Lok Sabha elections 2024. He also said, ‘I am sure that people will answer this through the polls on April 26.’
