Canberra (Newsdesk) Australian Assembly Member and Deputy Minister, Brittany Lauga, has claimed she was drugged and sexually abused in her constituency.

Australia’s Deputy Health Minister said in his post on the social networking site Instagram that Yippon, in the Australian state of Queensland, was sexually assaulted by being fed drugs.

He said that the test done at the hospital confirmed the presence of narcotic substances in my body, but I did not take those narcotic substances myself.

He said the incident happened on April 28 and the Deputy Minister of Health informed the police about the incident on Sunday morning.

“This drug had a very bad effect on me, it can happen to anyone and unfortunately it has happened to many of us,” said Llydaw Lauga.

He claimed that I have contacted several women in my area who have faced such a horrible experience and it is not right.

They said we should be free to move around without fear of being drugged or sexually assaulted.

Queensland Police have confirmed they are investigating a complaint of sexual harassment in Japan.

Steven Miles, head of the state of Queensland in Australia, said that the government is trying to provide support to Brittany Lauga in every possible way.

Australia has seen an increase in the targeting of women recently.

Last month in April, a man stabbed six people, including five women, in a shopping center in Sydney.
