The atmosphere in the village of Bhudadi, Sidhwan Bet in Jagraon, became tense when thousands of people from several villages took to the streets to protest against the establishment of the gas plant that was being established in the village. Because of this there was panic in the police administration. The police quickly converted the village into a police cantonment. During this, people staged a protest in Bhudadi village and raised slogans against the government.
