Contempt for London’s fleet of black cabs, one Saudi billionaire has arrived in the metropolis with a stunning collection of golden supercars.

The luxury car enthusiast has taken out some of his most prized possessions, including a stunning vinyl-wrapped Lamborghini, a Rolls-Royce and a beast of a Mercedes.

Turki bin Abdullah, believed to be related to a branch of the Saudi royal family, spent thousands to have the vehicles moved to the five-star Mandrian Oriental hotel near Hyde Park.

A small price to pay for the jaw-dropping collection worth several million pounds.

The young car billionaire, believed to be in his twenties, arrived in the UK equipped with a huge Mercedes-AMG G63 6×6 – a beast of a car that was barely made for Sadiq Khan’s ultra-low emission zone.

Under the hood of this beast is a powerful twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 engine, capable of driving all six of its 18-inch alloy wheels.

A luxurious lifestyle

The car may have been initially designed for the Australian military, but it has proven to be a fan favorite across Saudi Arabia, with a powerful internal air compressor that thrives in desert conditions.

Almost as if this £370,000 car wasn’t enough, the Saudi billionaire is also joined on the streets of Kensington by a gold Rolls-Royce Phantom coupe that is the epitome of luxury.

Often described as the world’s most luxurious car, this Phantom comes equipped with massive amounts of passenger space and, of course, a champagne cooler.

It’s more than just a luxury car though, and it’s equally capable of top speed with its 6.75-litre engine – allowing it to hit 155km/h.

Although the average Rolls-Royce, famous for being one of the quietest rides around, will set the buyer back around £400,000, it is currently unclear how much the gold-clad model cost the Turk.

The young Saudi also splashed out on a Lamborghini Aventador SV, a flashy engine that is so rare that only 600 units exist.

The amazing car can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and has an engine output of 552 kW/750 hp, which allows it to reach a top speed of 217 km/h.

Although London’s 20mph zones are unlikely to allow this.

Coming in just a touch slower, with a top speed of 207km/h, is the fourth car Turqui brought on his London trips – his Bentley Flying Spur, customized by Mansory.

Costing Turks a cool £220,000, the Whip has been described as a rocket limousine based on the Continental GT but with four doors, and “more bling”.

The 6-liter W12 twin-turbo engine produces 635 hp, accelerates from 0-62 km/h in just 3.8 seconds and has a top speed of 207 km/h.

The flying B also has glass wings that can be controlled remotely to twinkle, while the car has massaging seats and window shades.

And, you guessed it, Turki’s version is gold.

This is hardly the first time that the wealthiest in the Middle East have chosen to bring their supercars on vacation.

In the past decade, multi-millionaires and billionaires from Saudi Arabia have paid Qatar Airways £20,000 to fly in their flashiest vehicles.

Back in 2018, more than a dozen supercars including Lamborghinis, Ferraris, BMWs and even a £230,000 Bentley Mulsanne were spotted on the streets of London’s busiest shopping district.

Supercars with license plates from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait were all seen parked in the car parks of the capital’s luxury hotels.

In 2017, one Saudi Lamborghini owner was left red-faced after his carefully painted car broke down outside Harrods.

In the photos, the colorful supercar, emblazoned with a woman’s face on the hood, can be seen being lifted onto a bright yellow AA tow truck.
