Due to Western Disturbance becoming active in the country from March 29, the weather pattern has started to change. It is snowing in Jammu and Kashmir. On Friday (29 March), an avalanche occurred in Hang district of Sonamarg in the state. Because of this two cars got stuck in snow. People trapped in the car were rescued. However, the Srinagar-Leh highway has been closed due to avalanches.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rain and snow in Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh on March 30. There is a possibility of downpour in 19 states. Orange alert is in place in Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana and Delhi. It may rain with thunderstorms here.

There is a warning of heavy rain in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Bengal, Odisha and Sikkim will remain cloudy. There may be occasional thundershowers in these states.

On the other hand, some states are experiencing severe heat. The maximum heat is in 5 cities of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh. Akola, Maharashtra recorded a temperature of 42.6 degrees Celsius on March 29. This is the highest in the entire country.

After this, Moha and Guna from Madhya Pradesh remained in the second and third positions. In terms of temperature, Nandyala of Andhra Pradesh was ranked fourth and Parbhani of Maharashtra was fifth. In all these cities the mercury was recorded above 40 degrees.

IMD has issued a heatwave warning in several parts of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh on March 30. There is a possibility of relief from heat and humidity in these states from April 1.

Fear of severe heat in April-May
IMD scientist Naresh Kumar said on Friday (March 29) that the temperature will be above normal in April-May. There is a possibility of hot weather during this period. There will be very hot weather in the middle of the country in April. May will be the hottest month of the season. During this period, there may be severe heat in the north-west and central India of the country.

There is a possibility of rain and lightning in Sriganganagar, Hanumangarh, Churu, Sikar, Karauli, Jhunjhunu, Dholpur, Dausa, Bharatpur and Alwar districts of the state on March 30.
