Remo had flown from Kolkata to Cape Town in South Africa via Mumbai. Then on March 12, after a temporary practice, twenty-one-year-old Remo Saha of Salkia, Howrah, swam. He achieved his goal by swimming barefoot in freezing cold water for 4 hours and 37 minutes.
