Amidst these difficult times, he also had to deal with rising questions about his captaincy decisions. In a casual post on his official X account, Pandya stated that they will never give up, and will keep fighting.

“If there’s one thing you need to know about this team, we never give up. We’ll keep fighting, we’ll keep going,” Pandya said on X Today.

Monday’s match saw Rajasthan Royals win the toss and elect to bowl first as they restricted Mumbai Indians to 125 runs for nine wickets. Rajasthan Royals chased down the target in just 16 overs as Assam cricket talent Ryan Parag scored 54 runs off 39 balls, making him the highest run scorer in the tournament and earning him the Orange Cap.
Rajasthan Royals handed Mumbai Indians their third loss in a raw match, this IPL 2024, thus marking it as a disastrous start for MI.
