A partial hearing was held in the Jharkhand High Court on the suo motu case related to irregularities in the wholesale and retail tender of liquor in the state districts. During this, it was said on behalf of the state government that an SLP was filed in the Supreme Court against the suo motu cognizance of the High Court. A hearing is pending in the Supreme Court, so time should be given. The court accepted the state government’s request and scheduled the hearing in June.
