A young man who rescued a minor boy was sentenced to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment by a special court in Mumbai. Special judge Priya Bunker sentenced the 26-year-old on April 6. According to him, the victim will have a permanent scar on her soul due to the sexual assault. He will remain mentally disturbed in the future as well. His whole life will be affected by this event.

In fact, the matter is of the year 2020. The eight-year-old victim was playing near his house. During this period the accused came to him and invited him to the temple to play. The accused also tried to give money to the boy. When the boy arrived at the temple, the accused raped him. The accused threatened the victim that if she told anyone about this, the consequences would be very dangerous. The victim then returned home and narrated the entire incident to his parents. The parents complained against the accused at the police station and the police registered a case on July 22, 2020.

During the hearing, six witnesses were questioned. Apart from this, the medical report of the victim was also presented in court. However, the accused said in his defense that the incident happened during Covid-19. There was a lockdown at that time. People were not even allowed to leave their homes. To this the court said that there was a lockdown at that time but So many people were definitely allowed out of their homes.
