The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has announced changes in the lot size of futures and options. According to the NSE circular, out of 182 shares with derivative contracts, the lot size of 54 individual shares has changed. Of these, the lot size of 42 shares has been reduced. At the same time, the lot size of 6 shares has been increased.
Although, the derivative lot size of 128 shares has not been changed. The revised lot size for expiry on or after May will apply from April 26.

Within this time frame, their prices change according to the price of the stock. Futures and options on each share are available in one lot size.
