During the operation against fake and unregistered drugs in different areas of Balochistan, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) recovered huge quantities of drugs.
4 inquiries have been registered against the accused related to the sale of fake medicines.
According to officials, Anti-Corruption Circle Quetta has recovered a large quantity of fake medicines from a shop in Hazarganji Quetta.
The raid was carried out on a tip-off from DRAP officers.
The raiding team seized over 100 types of counterfeit and unregistered medicines.
Antibiotics, painkillers and life-saving medicines are also among the medicines that will be recovered.
FIA Chaman raided 3 different medical shops on Powerhouse Road.
Suspicious drugs have been seized from the above shops and handed over to the DRAP authorities, while an investigation has been registered against the accused, further legal action will be taken in the light of the report of the DRAP authorities .
In the last two weeks, FIA Balochistan zone has conducted 33 raids against elements involved in the sale of fake medicines, 21 inquiries have been registered in the raids.
As a result of the raids, a large number of counterfeit medicines were seized.
Further action against the accused will be taken on the report of DRAP officers.
