Fareedullah undergoes ‘successful’ Clavicle Fracture surgery Achi-News

The forward player of Pakistan National Football team, Fareed Ullah, had a successful surgery to treat his broken Clavicle bone (Broken Collar) injury, which had already ruled him out of the remaining match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier Round 2 match from home match between Pakistan and Jordan held in Jordan on the 26th of March. Fareedullah broke down on the field while tackling a Jordanian defender during the 33rd minute of the match.

According to a Press Release issued by PFF, After his return to Pakistan, he received prompt medical care and was taken from the airport to the hospital for necessary treatment. Following the recommendation of the Chief Medical Officer of the PFF, Dr. Azam Khan, a scan was carried out, which indicated the need for immediate surgical intervention. The operation was performed by Consultant Orthopedic and Sports Surgeon Dr Amir Sohail in Lahore, the statement added.

The statement further stated that the young forward was advised to rest and undergo rehabilitation for a period of eight to ten weeks before returning to the field. Fareed’s return is subject to successful completion of the rehabilitation program and approval from the medical staff.
