Bhopal News: 84 complaints of dog attacks received in Municipal Corporation in three months, only 15 aggressive dogs caught Achi-News

This is the reason why only 15 aggressive dogs have been caught in the last three months. While in these months alone, 84 people clearly stated in their complaints that the dogs had become violent and aggressive. As the summer season progresses, cases of stray dog ​​bites have also increased in the city. In the last three days, complaints have been registered on the CM Helpline from different areas of the city. Everyone was complaining about sudden attacks by stray dogs.

An increase in the number of cases of dog attacks

Let us tell you that a stray dog ​​tried to bite a child after finding him alone in the Housing Board Colony in Kohefiza. But the child began to shout loudly. That’s why the dogs ran away, or a big incident could have happened. At the same time, stray dogs also tried to attack a school principal. Both incidents were caught on CCTV. Recently, on March 19, a similar incident took place near the Science Center in the Shyamala Hills area. Where Humer, an innocent six-year-old, was surrounded by stray dogs and attacked, and because of that the child’s jaw and eyes were badly injured.

614 dogs were caught in three months

The dog squad has claimed to have caught 614 stray dogs from different parts of the city between December 1, 2023 and February 2. While during this period, 710 complaints were received at the corporation’s call centre. Of these, complaints were received about 182 infected dogs, 19 sick, 51 injured and 84 aggressive dogs. While CM Helpline 181 received 362 complaints about stray dogs being caught, four injured dogs, two with diseases, three sick and 15 aggressive dogs.
