Accused arrested in a case of arson, vandalism and theft in Banheri village

  • Three accused have already been caught

After the murder of Sarpanch Vikram Rawat of Banheri village in Aaron, Gwalior, the fourth accused, Deendayal Singh Rawat, son of Mangal Singh Rawat, who was absconding in the arson, robbery and vandalism committed in the village by his supporters, have been arrested by the police. The accused who was arrested had once again threatened the people who had fled the village after the incident of arson and robbery when they came back after a week. The accused had arrived with a gun along with more than half a dozen companions and threatened him. But the police got information at the right time. After reaching the spot, the police arrested three accused Ajab Singh Rawat, Raju Rawat and Gautam Rawat along with two rifles. But after getting the opportunity, the accused who was caught had escaped. The accused say they do not want anyone remotely involved in the murder of their Sarpanch to live in the village.
