Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) candidate Asifa Bhutto Zardari won unopposed from National Assembly Constituency NA-207 in Nawabshah.
The Electoral Commission says so
11 candidates including PP candidate Asifa Bhutto Zardari filed their nomination papers. The papers of 7 candidates were rejected while 3 withdrew their papers.
President Asif Zardari left the seat after being elected the President of the country, Asifa Bhutto Zardari was nominated by the PPP on the vacant seat of Asif Ali Zardari.
Returning Officer Sher Ali Jamali said nomination papers of 7 independent candidates were rejected, PTI independent candidate Sardar Sher Muhammad Rand did not appeal against rejection of nomination papers.
Sardar Sher Muhammad Rand was second in the general election to Asif Ali Zardari.
