New Delhi: A photo of Benjamin Basu Matri, a politician facing corruption charges in India, sleeping on the currency notes has gone viral on social media.
According to a foreign news agency, there is a photo of the Indian politician Benjamin Basu Matri, who is facing charges of corruption in the Indian state of Assam, sleeping on a pile of notes.
In the picture, the Indian politician can be seen sleeping on a stack of 500 Indian rupee notes, while he has also placed some notes on himself.

Benjamin Bisumatri, the leader of the autonomous division of Budoland in the Indian state of Assam, has been accused of massive corruption in the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme and the Rural Jobs Scheme he is facing.
On the other hand, Jamaat Benjamin Bisumatri (UPPL) clarified in a statement that Benjamin is no longer associated with the party and his membership was suspended on January 10, 2024.
