9 senators including Anwarul Haq Kakar were elected unopposed from Balochistan Achi-News

9 senators including former Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar, an independent candidate, were elected unopposed on 11 Senate seats from Balochistan.

Syed Al Nasir and Agha Shahzeb Durrani of PML-N were elected as senators on the general seats, while Sardar Umar Gorgej of the People’s Party and Jan Bilidi of the National Party were elected as senators.

Emil Wali of Awami National Party was elected unopposed senator from Balochistan, Ahmed Khan of JUIF was elected unopposed senator.

Rahat Jamali of PML-N and Hasna Bibi of PPP were elected senators on women’s seats.
