5 people were killed when the roof of a house collapsed in Daki district due to heavy rain in northeast Balochistan.
In Dhaka itself, 5 miners are trapped in the mine, and the rescue operation is going on to get them out.
Due to the rain, a flooded rail entered a coal mine in Dhaka’s Nasirabad area before Iftar, trapping 5 miners.
Officials say floodwaters have gone up to 60 feet inside the mine and the trapped miners have been cut off.
According to Levies sources, there is a flood situation in Daki area due to continuous heavy rain for 10 hours.
On the other hand, at several places in Harnai, the highway connecting Punjab was washed away in flood lanes.
The highway has been affected by flash floods at several places in Kozhak Top, the national highway is closed due to landslides in Dhanasar.
