Guwahati: The Guwahati Jal Board has issued a notice to its consumers, informing them of an imminent break in water supply today.

The disruption will affect designated DMAs AN003, AN004, AN005, AN006, AN007 and AN012, which include areas such as Piyoli Phukan Nagar, Chandmari, Rajgarh, Gandhi Basti, Ashram Road, Lachit Nagar, Bora Service, among others.

The interruption is due to the need to repair a leak in the main pipe of the feeder located at the Chandmari U-turn.
As a result, consumers living in the aforementioned areas may experience a temporary stoppage in their water supply.
